Many of these boys had so much war material hidden at home that they could not carry it, had to get their father's help with a farmer's car. It is not unusual during these 'disarmament' drives for boys to arrive drawing antitank guns and munitions trailers. Some have taken home whole cases of gun and machine gun ammunition.
