' Jane Froman Arrives In Paris.
' Jane Froman Arrives In Paris. Jane Froman, American singer who survived a Clipper crash at Lisbon in February 1943, with more than 1000 cuts and wounds, including broken legs, ribs, ankle and arm, arrived in Paris recently, making her first broadcast to ETO Troops. Miss Froman is on a tour of `ward concerts` for the wounded. She has undergone 18 bone grafts and operations before being allowed to return to Europe. She said `I have a feeling that the boys who see me sing - braces crutches and surgical patchwork - will say, If she can do it, and she's only a girl, - so can I`.
