'Foto: German General Captured At Home. General Lieutenant Adolph Von Kleist surrendered to American troops when they overran his home in Leveste, where he was recuperating from a thigh injury received five weeks before. General Von Kleist, shown here on his way to internment, is the cousin of Field Marshal Von Kleist, nazi hero of the Polish and Russian campaigns. By March 21, 1945, it was reported that 145 German Generals had been captured or killed and 13 had died from other causes since 'D-Day' (June 6, 1944).'
