Millions of Berliners who lined the road from Berlin airdrome at Tempelhof all the way up to the Reichschancellory at Wilhelmplatz, gave Adolf Hitler a thunderous welcome when he arrived in the German capittal March 16th 1938 after his drive through Austria.
