The church which Jean-Francois millet immortalised.
The church which Jean-Francois millet immortalised. The church at Greville, often painted by Jean Francois Millet, the French painter who was born at the nearby hamlet of Gruchy, stands unscarred in spite of the bitter battles which raged in this region before the Germans were driven out. One of Millet's paintings of this church hangs in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
