U.S. Medical corps cares for wounded civilians in France. Corporal Samuel T. The civilian was injured by Nazi shrapnel and was rushed to the hospital tent of a medical battalion moving forward with U.S. troops. From the first moment of the landings on the Normandy beaches, Allied medical corpsmen have cared for French civilians as they advanced to drive the Nazis out of the country.
