French Army returns to France. Soldiers of the Regiment de Marche du Tchad of the French Army are shown on the quay of an Engish seaport town, waiting to board ship for France. These men were trained in the Tchad region of French Equatorial Africa and made the famous march from Tchad across the desert in 1942 to join Allied forces in North Africa. In 1944, they again joined the Allies - this time on French soil - to drive the Nazis from their homeland.
