Mounted and foot police mistaking a deputation which were endeavouring to take the letter of protest to the German Embassy, and trying to force them back on the pavement. Eventually, however they were allowed to pass and deliver their letter. In background is part of the huge crowd and some of the communist agitators with large banner.
