The batle of the North Atlantic.
The batle of the North Atlantic. Two Britsh Merchant Marine officers, thei bare hands and feet numbed by the icy waters of the North Atlantic, cling to their raft while a British seaman, is helped aboard a U.S. Coast Guard combat cutter. While the cutter was scouring the Atlantic for U-boats, it sighted these survivors of a torpedoing. At the same time, a U-boat was detected in the vicinity and the cutter was forced to abandon the seamen and attack. Then it returned, found the men again and recued them.
