This year the Dutch Government were given a daily broadcast of fifteen minutes of their own, wich was subsequently increased to two periods a day. From July, 1941 to November 1942, a programme for Dutch seamen with the title 'De Brandaris', the name of a famous Dutch lighthouse, was broadcast and was exceedingly popular among listeners in Holland.
