First picture of the R.A.F. in action over the Norwegian coast. Near Kristiansand: A large Merchantman with Hatches open. A cross can be seen painted on the Deck behind the bridge structure. This would suggest a Deliberate attempt to represent to Britsh aviators that this was a neutral vessel, not, as was evidently the case, carrying Nazi stores etc. one other merchantman and two small vessels can be seen there are many ice floes along the coast.
