Allied soldiers get acquainted at American Air Base in Russia. An American sergeant admires the medals of two Russian women soldiers at an air base built in the Soviet Union for U.S. planes. Both of the 21-year-old Soviet women helped defeat the Germans at Leningrad and Stalingrad. American and Russian personnel staff the new airdromes in the Soviet Union from which U.S. bombers and fighters easily can reach enemy targets in Eastern Europe. A vital synthetic oil plant which the Germans contructed in eastern Poland and Balkan targets important to the enemy war machine have already been pounded by American bombers which utilized the Russian bases.
