Vatican Artt treasures on view again, Polish and British soldiers walk through the Corridioio Delle Carte Geographice (Hall of Maps) on their way to the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican, Rome. The ceiling of the corridor is completely decorated with frescoes. The Vatican Art Galleries, which had been cloes since the outbreak of the war, were recently reopened to Allied forces and general public.
