Abyssinian looks at an Italian bomb.
17 december 1935
Abyssinian looks at an Italian bomb. With an expression of mixed awe and curiosity on his features, this Abyssinian official at Daggah Bur on the Abyssinian southern front, examines a lump of battered metal which might have brought death to numbers of his countrymen. The object is an Italian aerial bomb which failed to explode. Daggah Bur and the district surrounding has been receiving much attention from Italian bombers. It was while attempting to remove a "dud" that Dr. Robert W. Hockman, the American Red Cross chief, met death at his place.
