Lack of rain has created acute shortage in the vicinity of his big estate at Churt, Surrey, England. Today Dame Margaret Lloyd George inaugurated the installation of an irrigation plant on the estate. There was no happier man at the ceremony than Mr. Lloyd George. But he realises the gravity of a position that makes the search for water so vital. That is proved by this series of three pictures made at Churt this morning - illustrating graphically the moods of this man who is famous in all quarters of the world. Present at the ceremony today was Mrs. Wyllie, from Blairgowrie, in Wild Perthshire, Scotland. She is a water diviner, discovered the presence of water on the Lloyd George's estate. And this morning she gave a demonstration of her art.
