Courageous survivors land. A chief petty officer of the sunk Courageous met by his wife and two friends on arrival. Tears have changed to smiles of happy relief, and the wife, second from left, holds the pneumatic life-savingjacket which kept her husband afloat for 2,5 hours. A souvenir of a grim ordeal.
