On the occasion of princess Juliana's birthday on april 30th '46, a parade of allied troops was held in front of the Palace at Koningsplein Noord, Batavia. Dutch troops, including members of the women services, British and Britisch-Indian detachments were watched by thousands of spectators of all nationalities and civil and military representatives of the Dutch and foreign governments. The Netherlands Women Corps smartly marches past the saluting base. NI 771
