On June 14th, 1938, Reichs Chancellor Adolf Hitler laid the foundation stone for the new House of German Tourism on the newly created Round Square in Berlin. This Round Square is situated in the center of Berlin, near the Potsdamer street, from which to the North and the South a new street will cut the city of Berlin, connectin two new railway stations to be erected in the North and the South of the German capital. With today's laying of the foundation stone, the reconstruction of the city of Berlin will be started simultaneously on 16 different places.
