partly accessible Mácová L. – Vančata, V.: Okresní soud Bechyně (1949) 1850-1949. Inventář, 1973, 38 s., ev. č. 94. https://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/922210701000094/1 The fonds contains documents of the Bechyně District Court from the years (1849) 1850-1949 concerning the civil and criminal agendas, as well as the agenda for the establishment of new land registers. Information on Jews can be found in expropriation documents ordered by the Gestapo during the Nazi occupation, and the inheritance agenda (file No D) of Jews perished in WW II in concentration camps dealt with in 1946. The activities of the District Court in Bechyně began on 27 May 1850 and was included in the district of the Regional Court in Tábor. In the years of 1855-1868, the so-called mixed district office was established (political and judicial agenda). In 1868, this mixed district office was abolished and only the district court remained in Bechyně. The seat of the district office was again transferred to Milevsko. This situation remained virtually unchanged until January 29, 1949, when the District Court in Bechyně was abolished.
