The collection consists of official materials related to the investigation of Peron regime during his second presidency. Comisión Nacional de Investigaciones Decreto-Ley 479/55. Comisión 2 (Investigative Commissions) created by the de facto government that emerged from the coup of 1955, calling itself "Liberating Revolution," are a well-known episode in Argentine history. Created with the aim of investigating the irregularities produced during the management of the regime they had overthrown, they became a symbol of political persecution against Peronism. Like other "desperonizadoras" measures implemented during the governments of Eduardo Lonardi and Pedro Eugenio Aramburu. Decree 479/55 created this commission, whose purpose was to thoroughly investigate the alleged irregularities produced during the management of the deposed Peronist regime. It was instituted on October 7,1955, during the presidency of Eduardo Lonardi, and ended on March 31, 1956, during the government of Pedro Eugenio Aramburu.
