Contains a photograph of an unidentified liberated inmate of the Buchenwald concentration camp, circa may 1945.

A photocopy of parts of "Buchenwald and Beyond," which concerns the 120th U.S. Evacuation Hospital and its service to survivors and displaced persons at Buchenwald concentration camp and Cham, Germany, after liberation. Entire book is in Library collection as D807.U722 120th B83 1946.

Photographs (copyprints) of corpses at liberated camp, along with photocopy of sleeve photos were originally housed in.

Contains one two-page newsletter, published September 2, 1938, for Yedioth Hayom in Tel Aviv, with an anonymous report about the conditions in the Buchenwald concentration camp. The information in the article was gleaned from a former prisoner of the camp and gives the location, makeup, and atmosphere of the camp.

Consists of 22 photographs which were taken after the liberation of the Buchenwald concentration camp. Includes photographs of piles of corpses stacked outside of the crematoria, photographs of buildings, and of a Hitler dummy hanged in effigy.

This deposit was apparently made in response to a request by the Wiener Library for Holocaust poetry in 1986. The depositor and author, Joseph Langland, was a soldier in the U.S. Army stationed close to Buchenwald shortly after its liberation. He published two poems about Buchenwald in books that are no longer in print and one about Hiroshima.

The song text contains Joseph Langland's reflections on his participation in the liberation of Buchenwald. The cassette recording features the piece performed by John Lemly, bass, and Sheila Jillson, soprano, accompanied by Joseph Rogers on cello and Patricia King on piano.

Consists of one leather photograph album containing photographs taken in May 1945 of the Buchenwald concentration camp, as well as signs for the Gardelegen cemetery for victims of the Gardelegen massacre. Captions are written under each photograph.

Donor describes his Holocaust related experiences in Buchenwald.
