Reconstruction of Holland - Dutch art treasures safe. The massive circular steel and concrete safe at Paasloo. The entrance is protected by a blast wall and quarters for the staff who looked after the masterpieces.

The upper one is 'The Battle of Waterloo' by Pieneman, painted for King William I and owned by Queen Wilhelmina. The drums were rotated half a turn every day to prevent the canvases setting in one position. ( De bunker lag bij Paasloo.)
