Bevrijding Geffen. British troops launch attack on 's Hertogenbosch. At down on Oct, 22nd, the British Second Army struck westwards from Oss towards the important town and rail junction of Hertogenbosch, some 12 miles away. An Ayre tank fitted with fascine bundles for filling ditches approaches Nuland on the road to 's Hertogenbosch, whilst British infantrymen advance alongside.
