Bremen submarine shipyard bombed. A submarine leans over in the ways after heaving been hit by a bomb during an Allied raid on the Deshimag submarine shipyards at Bremen, Germany, March 14, 1945. The Deshimag yards were the second largest in Germany and produced one submarine ervery two and a hald weeks. To minimize the effects of Allied bombs, the ships were built on eight sections in various parts of Germany and each section was brought to the yard, where 18,000 workers assembled them.
