Malino conference 15-25 juli. A meeting to decide the political reconstruction of the Netherlands East Indies was held at Malino, in the Celebes, July, 1946. The Malino conference was a prelimanary conference for a general plan af action, and it is estimated that a second conference of a constitutionel character will be held within the next three months, at which the political plan of Malino will be elaberated in detail and approved. The autoeme of the conference was very satisfactory, and everyone who was present was convinced that here free men had assembled to make a decision in joint and mutual consulation.
