A collection of articles by the author, published between 1944-89 in the "Revue de Paris", describing Jewish participation in the French resistance movement against the Nazis. Discusses the Jewish presence in the International Brigades in Spain, and in resistance organizations (e.g. FTP) in France, as well as the suffering of those sent to the Pithiviers and Beaune-la-Rolande camps and to forced labor units. Analyzes the Jewish press of the time (e.g. "La Presse Nouvelle", "Undzer Wort"), the antisemitic press, and the solidarity of the French Communist Party with the Jews' struggle.
