Memoirs of Kleinmann (b. 1923 in Vienna), an Austrian Jew who, together with his father, Gustav (b. 1891 in Upper Silesia), survived World War II in labor camps and concentration camps, and in 1945 returned to Vienna. Pp. 11-27 contain diary notes written by Gustav in Buchenwald, Auschwitz, and Bergen-Belsen. Pp. 34-114 contain Fritz's memoirs about his internment in Buchenwald, Auschwitz, and Mauthausen. Pp. 115-129 contain a description of the lives of the Kleinmanns by R. Gärtner. Pp. 130-133 contain notes on Gustav's diary by Gärtner. Includes Gustav Kleinmann's diary from Auschwitz and a memoir by Fritz Kleinmann. 140 pages : illustrations ; 21 cm
