partly accessible The fonds contains documents of the political administration of the Pardubice District, official books, files, and the associated agenda. Jews are explicitly mentioned in the following documents: a list of administrators of the Jewish property 1940, church affairs 1906-1945, association affairs 1850–1945, police affairs - passport agenda 1906-1945, trade licensing affairs 1850-1945, census 1921, police agenda and security - Jews and Jewish property 1939–1945, social care - bans on the entry of Jews, support for prisoners 1940-1945 (1948). The district governor's office in Pardubice began its activities on February 1, 1850. On May 26, 1855, it was transformed into a mixed district office, which was subordinated to the regional office in Chrudim as the second administrative instance. From 31 August 1868, the district governor's office was restored. In 1919, its name was changed to district political administration, which lasted until 1928. The Act on the New Organization of Political Administration No. 125/1927 changed the structure of the state apparatus, in which district authorities became the first instance of political administration.
