Majer Feliks Gorewicz collection

Copyright Holder: Mrs. Esther Gorewicz Hayoun Collection of documents and photographs documenting the experiences of Majer Feliks Gorewicz (donor's father) during the Holocaust and after his liberation. Majer Feliks was originally from Kielce, Poland where he owned and operated a bar and restaurant. He was imprisoned in Stalag VIIa in Moosburg and subsequently sent to the Auschwitz, Dachau, and Flossenbürg concentration camps. He was liberated by American troops in April 1945.
