Joseph Lieberman ration card
Joseph Isador Lieberman was born on 24 February 1942 in Stamford, Connecticut. He served as a United States Senator representing Connecticut from 1989 to 2013, and during this time he chaired the Senate Committee on Homeland Security (2007-2013), and was a vice-presidential candidate, as running mate to Vice President Al Gore during the presidential election of 2000. A graduate of Yale University and Yale Law School, he was elected to the Connecticut Senate in 1970 and also served as that state's Attorney General from 1983 to 1989. Consists of one War Ration Book No. 3 issued circa August 1943 by the United States Office of Price Administration to Joseph Lieberman, aged 19 months.
