William Margolis letter
William Margolis served as a medical officer with the U.S. army during World War II. He served as part of the liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp in 1945, and helped adminsiter medical treatment to survivors. Consists of one letter and it's transcription, dated June 2, 1945, from William Margolis to Abraham Morrison. As a medical officer of the U.S. army, Margolis was placed in charge of the treatment of prisoners at the Mauthausen concentration camp following its liberation. The letter describes the conditions of the camp, and the medical treatment Margolis administered to some patients.
