"I saw Buchenwald"

Jack La Pietra is a retired Lt. Col. of the United States Air Force, who visited Buchenwald concentration camp shortly after liberation. Consists of a copy of "I saw Buchenwald" by Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jack La Pietra. The testimony describes the inhumane conditions and places of torture and death seen by La Pietra as he was taken through the camp by one of the Buchenwald survivors shortly after liberation. It was written in 1979 and and epilogue was added in 1985.
