Victor Gans memoir
Victor Gans was born in Austria. During the Holocaust, he experienced Kristallnacht, was incarcerated, sent to Dachau and later released, and eventually immigrated to Shanghai. He later immigrated to the United States and settled in California. Contains information about the life of Victor Gans and his family before and after the Anschluss including their experiences of antisemitism; Kristallnacht in 1938, Victor's arrest and imprisonment in Dachau, and the eventual immigration of the family to Shanghai.
