Eva Gross' memoir relates the life of the author and her family in Mór, Hungary, before and during the Holocaust. It describes antisemitism before the Nazis occupied Hungary, her experiences at Auschwitz, a death march, and her liberation by Americans. Eva Gross (1925, Mór, Hungary) was raised in a Jewish family. After World War II, she immigrated to the United States where she wrote novels, short stories, scripts for television, plays, and poems.
