Wilhelm Coenraad Laros papers
Consists of copies of a testimony and other materials relating to Wilhelm C. Laros and Jehovah's Witnesses during the Holocaust. Among the topics mentioned are concentration camps, death marches, and activities of Jehovah's Witnesses in Europe before, during, and after the Holocaust. Wilhelm Laros was born June 9, 1902, in Delft, Netherlands. Laros became affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses as a youth and became an active leader. He later was arrested by the Germans for his religious beliefs, interned in Sachsenhausen concentration camp, and released from that camp after 4 1/2 years. Laros presently resides in Delft.
