Siblings Betty Braat (b. 1936) and Rene Braat (b. 1944) were forced into hiding in Feb. 1945 in the town of Westerbork, Netherlands. Their cousin, Bertil Mooleman (b. 1943), also survived the Holocaust in hiding. The collection consists of 53 photographs documenting the experiences of the Braat and Mooleman families in the Netherlands before, during, and after the Holocaust.
