Norbert Krasnosielski photograph collection

Collection of photographs documenting Norbert Krasnosielski and his experiences while serving with the Polish Army and Russian Army during WWII. Norbert Krasnosielski (1918-2013) was born in Nikopol, Ukraine. He grew up in Nesvizh, Poland (now Niasvizh, Belarus), and lived in Vilna during the 1930s. He joined the Russian Army after Western Poland came under Russian occupation, and later fought with the Polish Army. He was in St. Petersburg during the siege of Leningrad, and occupied Berlin during the end of the war.
