Jack Weiner photographs
Dr. Jack Weiner was a member of the 115th Field Hospital of the United States miltary. He was stationed first in England in 1944, and in Germany in 1945, where he cared for the survivors of a concentration camp. Consists of original photographs and glass slides from the collection of Dr. Jack Weiner, a member of the United States Army who worked at the 115th Field Hospital in Kassel, Germany, in 1945. The collection includes photographs of Weiner and his staff in the summer of 1945, of structures damaged in the war, and original glass slides of the liberation of a concentration camp. The photographs are described on the verso.
