Kurt Kastan correspondence
Letters written on concentration camp form stationary from Kurt Kastan to his wife Rosa (Rosel) and their daughters in Breslau, Germany (now Wrocław, Poland). The letters are primarily written from the Sachsenhausen and Ravensbrück concentration camps, between February 1941 and February 1942. Kurt Kastan (1897-1942) was born and lived in Breslau, Germany (now Wrocław, Poland) with his wife Rosa (Rosel) and their two daughters. He was arrested during the Holocaust, imprisoned at the Sachsenhausen and Ravensbrück concentration camps, and is believed to have died in Ravensbrück in April 1942.
