Gardelegen photographs
Consists of nine photographs taken by Sergeant Al Elias of the United States Army after the discovery of the Gardelegen atrocity. Includes photographs (some with captions on the verso) of victims, of American military personnel, and of the burial of bodies. Copyright Holder: Ms. Sharon Crosby Al Elias was a member of the United States Army during World War II and witnessed the aftermath of the Gardelegen atrocity.
