Josef Safar (born in 1888) and his wife Riwka (Regina) Berkowicz (born in 1895) had ten children: Malka, Dov (Bernard), Szmuel, Roza, Fani (Frantiska), Wolf Hersch, Schlomo, Ester, David and Frieda.
