Consists of 14 photographs of piles of burnt victims of the Gardelegen atrocities. The photographs were taken by a member of the United States Army.

Series of seven original black and white photographs taken at Gardelegen, Germany in April 1945. Each photograph measures approximately 3 5/8" x 2 1/2." Four of the series are captioned on the back.

Consists of nine photographs taken by Sergeant Al Elias of the United States Army after the discovery of the Gardelegen atrocity. Includes photographs (some with captions on the verso) of victims, of American military personnel, and of the burial of bodies.

Consists of 11 photographs taken of the Gardelegen atrocity, including photographs of corpses carried on stretchers in preparation for burial. Also includes one letter, dated July 28, 1945, written by Daniel J. McCue, Jr. in Bad Aibling, Germany, to his father, Daniel J. McCue, Sr. In the letter, McCue writes that he is enclosing photographs taken "at a concentration camp..snapped by one of our boys." ...

Consists of three photographs taken at Gardelegen in the spring of 1945. Includes two photographs of victims of the atrocity and one photograph of American soldiers examining the building.

Consists of nine photographs taken of the Gardelegen massacre. The photographs were presumably taken by the donor, Dr. Peter B. Kamin, a member of the 44th Evacuation Hospital of the First Army.

Contains a black and white photograph of three corpses of prisoners shot by the SS laying in the doorway of a barn just outside of Gardelegen; caption on verso: "March 1945 / Gardalagen [sic] / 20 miles east of Hanover Germany."

Consists of one leather photograph album containing photographs taken in May 1945 of the Buchenwald concentration camp, as well as signs for the Gardelegen cemetery for victims of the Gardelegen massacre. Captions are written under each photograph.
