Consists of one I.D. certificate from Shanghai, 26 June 1947; one certificate of travel for Benjamin (Siegfried Czarlinsky); one United Nations. letter of registration, 1947; and one class photograph from a Jewish school, Berlin, Germany, 1938.

Collection includes instruction from 29 December 1941 by commissar of Hrushka district regarding registration and marking of the Jewish population, as well as prohibition to the Jews to convert into Christianity and to change their names (file 2, p. 11).

The collection contains 20 documents, consisting of certificates, a repatriation card, registrations of residence, a note, correspondence, and one object used during and after the Holocaust by the Schlesinger family, particularly Erna Seidner Schlesinger [donor's mother]. Julius Meyerowitz (1866-1946) was born to Hirsch and Lina Meyerowitz in Kovno (now Kaunas, Lithuania), before moving to Königsberg, East Prussia (now Kaliningrad, Russia) in 1879.
