Consists of 26 photographs taken by and of PFC John W. George, a member of the 13th Field Artillery Observation Battalion of the United States Army; includes photographs of the liberation of the Nordhausen concentration camp. Also includes photographs of military destruction as well as civilian and prisoner casualties encountered by the Army as they crossed Germany in the spring of 1945.

Testimony, typescript (photocopy), 36 pages, by Edward Blonder, written in 1981. Describes childhood in Jaslo, Poland; German invasion and occupation; creation of ghetto in Jaslo and eventual destruction of that ghetto and transfer to Przemyśl ghetto, then Auschwitz and various labor camps (including Ebensee); liberation and immigration to the United States.

Consists of photographs taken by Lt. Cdr. Samuel F.Harby of fellow American soldiers in Germany, the destruction of various cities and towns, and of the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp. Harby, who held a PhD in Educational Research, was producing training and education films for the United States Navy and came to Germany under those auspices.
