The collection consists of eleven drawings created by Halina Olszewski (later Olomucki) during and after the Holocaust as her eyewitness testimony of people and scenes she saw and experienced in the Warsaw ghetto in Poland and as a prisoner in Majdanek, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Ravensbruck, and Neustadt-Glewe concentration camps.

Relates to the early life of Mala Goldrat Brandsdorfer (née Liss) in Poland; life for Jews under German occupation; experiences and observations in the Warsaw Ghetto, Majdanek, and Auschwitz-Birkenau; evacuation from Auschwitz; incarceration at Neustadt-Glewe; and liberation.

Lucyina Cuker (later Lea Berkman) and her twin sister Irka Cuker was born on September 1, 1923 in Radom, Poland to Shmuel and Freida Cuker. Their father owned a shoe store in Radom. Mania Novak (née Rapaport, 1927-2015) was born on 25 December 1927 in Będzin, Poland to Salomon and Sima Rapaport. Mania was sent to the Będzin ghetto in January 1940. In June 1943 she was deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp. In January 1945 she was sent to Ravensbrück and then its Neustadt-Glewe sub-camp where she was liberated by the Soviet Red Army in May 1945. Mania had camp number 51677 ...

The collection consists of six photographs of the Fogel family, the Mermelstein family, and the Klarman family and their life in Botragy, Batyu (Vuzlove, Ukraine), and Szuszko, Czechoslovakia before the Holocaust. The photographs picture both Holocaust victims and survivors. There is also a photograph taken of sisters Irene and Serena Fogel upon their arrival in New York in 1947.

The collection primarily documents the post-war experiences of Carl Zucker, originally of Zakroczym, Poland, and his wife Edith Zucker (née Guzy), originally of Olkusz, Poland, in the Foehrenwald displaced persons camp.
