Rabbi Solomon Usher papers
Consists of postcards received by Rabbi Salomon Usher Schwartzman while living as a refugee in Kobe, Japan. The postcards were authored by Rabbi Schwartzman’s siblings, Laja Kac and Chaim Schwarzman, of Siedlce, Poland, and date to the year 1941. Another postcard is attributed to a friend, Jochiel Bauman. The collection also includes three photographs depicting Rabbi Schwartzman and others in Japan. No restrictions on access
